Loading Emus??

Try to do some work.on the trailer...break out the drill and some wires......have a few.buckets of gate pins etc.....then you have to beat them off of ya.......lol
Seriously....walking behind them and guiding....is good. Wire fence funnel..... Seen.people get behind them..bear hug them while picking them up and leaning back to carry them...lol... Best if you have time to get them use to the trailer days before you need to get them in. They can smell when you want them in the trailer.....lol

Thanks everyone. Ozzie and Harriet are loaded and actually at their new home. Their new humans wanted to do some breeding and we did not want any babies. Spirit our dog would collect the eggs and bring them to us adn we would either use them in our raw dog/cat food or blow them out.

Harriet loaded very easy with Kenny guiding her and two others came behind with a 3-sided fence piece. But here's the kicker.....Ozzie has never shown any interest in laying on the eggs. Well, yesterday he was and Kenny said it was if he was in a state of hibernation or a trace. Kenny was actually able to just pick him up, carry him to the trailer and put him in.

Anyway, thanks so much for all the suggestions.

I never cease to be amused and amazed by stuff on BYC:

‘And now for the lighter side of the news, here’s local identity Mrs. Lisahorsegal demonstrating the correct technique for fireperson’s lift as she manoeuvres into a horse trailer a hundred-pound feathered dinosaur with glazed eyeballs.’
