Lock down humidity help

Bouncers air cell did not look like that either and he hatched fine......Do not stress so much......he was all dark with no movement till he piped the air cell, then nothing till he rested about 24 hours and then the egg was wobbling till he hatched.....I know your worried, it is a freaky thing......i just made sure he was sitting the right way in the incubator and then the egg totally sifted by itself ....I had him wrong I guess?....lol......

Take a breath and yippee! Your almost ready!!!

What breed of duck?

Mine never completely filled up dark by day 20. More like day 24-26. Did you check the pointy end also? And all around the egg?

Yours could be ready early!

I changed the candler (torch) to a more powerful one and turns out all is good they are moving violently and see more visible stuff worried for no reason I guess

Oops, I need to pay attention to dates....Bouncer was never dated properly so he took 31 days to hatch... Probably not but was a mixed hatch i messed up! Good grief.... Oh well if your sure on dates? You will have possibly better luck knowing when things should happen?......

The only time I see veins at that point is if they have died. It is normal to not see veins now because the membrane will start drawing down and the body of the baby will be blocking visibility of the veins. So, you should only see a dark mass (the baby) and the air cell.

These are ducks with over a week left to grow.
