Sounds good! I might need a bit of help when it comes nearer to the hatch day and lock down etc Thankyou everyone for the support and I might need it for the next week or soYes! Much better! And I always start a new hatch with new batteries!!
Thanks exited nowI am the wrong person to ask....It looks like it has internally piped to me?
WV will be on and give you a definite answer...As far as complicating the situation goes, I was totally stressed out..
If it has piped you need to put it into lock down and up the humidity....
Best of luck....
Yes it is moving I' think that's the bill and if it has pipped through how long would it take to hatch?@won023 you could still see movement? It is very hard to tell from that pic, but I would say it is definitely pressing against the membrane, maybe pipped thru it. And the odd shadows could be from that rupture. Am I still seeing some "clear" yellowish area in that picture also?
Usually when they get into position, the air cell draws down and they use a big portion of the fat end of the egg. Are you seeing part of the fat end occupied now?

well now it's just time to wait then hope they break through the egg soon :-0Once it breaks the membrane, it's got about 24 hours worth of air inside there. It will break the shell within that 24 hours... Usually around 12 hours on average. But then, once it breaks thru the shell, it can be another 24 hours.
They really test our patience!!![]()
