Yes it does say they create their own heat.... wouldn't the thermostat just make it shut off and not work as hard?
You guys make it somehow sound less scary.
And I marked air cells last night (when I should have locked down). They seem maybe day 14 size, That would stink if I had great life in the incubator and everybody drowns.![]()

Honestly, after watching several broodies hatch eggs last summer, I don't worry near as much about anything during incubation any more.
