Lockdown tomorrow, anyone else this weekend?

I just locked down 70 coturnix eggs this morning, does that count?

My lock down started yesterday (day 19), but mine are incubating under a broody hen. So far today, i have 2 hatched, and at least 4 more pipped. I have 12 eggs under her in all. Woohoo!

Lockdown for me was Thurs night, due Sunday Night...
But I have four hatched today, and a pip.
Have to go buy a red heat bulb and a bigger brooder tub.
And a bunch more D batteries since all I'm doing is standing over the incubator with a flashlight.

Odd...I've had broody hens hatch chicks which are just great little chicks, and I like them OK...
...but these are MINE. If a little runt died before, well that was just the way it is sometimes.

These I'm so vested in I just can't believe it.

Ooo....Sounds good for you! Well...the roosters he had were RIR and a Red Star. The hens are BO,Red Star,RIR, one Turken.So we'll see,I hope.I HAVE to candle tonight,can't resist Then it's NO TOUCHY! They should pip by tomorrow night?!
