Lockdown tomorrow, anyone else this weekend?

Ok, so this will tell you all how tired I am! I lied, I only have 14 hatched, went in to check to see if the other had hatched, it has, but there are two more! Yep, I will have 17 when done..the other two are almost out. I had to go count the hatched babies. I guess all of those egg shells in there were hard for my weary, tired, blood shot eyes to notice the difference?

HaHa....I KNOW how you feel...I work nights. I have to work tonight so that's probably when all the action will start

It sounds like you guys are all having so much fun!! How exciting!! Mine go on lock down this thursday, I am so excited and nervous all in one as this is my first hatch too, I have no idea what I am doing but it has been fun!! I had 18 to begin with and now I have 15 but I am still not really sure what I am looking at, so I guess we will see this Sunday

I hope I get some, I would even be happy with one or two

Omgosh,it's nerve-wracking! I am soooooo anxious! I just wanna see one hatch! I hope yours do well!!

I have no choice but to open my bator to turn my ducks.. It doesn't lose heat fast at all, as soon as I open it the heater kicks on and keeps the temp up with no problem. The humidity; I just spray my heat bulb and shut the door. Humidity hops up, and by the time it's done on the bulb the heat has evaporated enough water and got it back up to 60%.. so well see how it goes .

No excitement as of this morning, there due the 8th and 9th sooo. Well see!

OMG AWESOME!! you make me wanna go home!!! But my incubator is too loud and I can't hear them, but I can see the pips! When they're there that is.....
Quick question. Had some eggs given to me that have been in the incubator since the 31st. You think they would be ok for 20 mins out of one while I drive them home??

hmmm, 20 mins? Do you have a heating pad you could warm up first, then put them in a towel or something and set them on it? Not sure to be honest. Mama hen does get up and out for a while still around that time. Just try and think of a way to keep them warm, but not too warm, like the heating pad is at first...wrap them up nice and thick, then less thick 10 mins..later? That's something I would try "if" I had to take them out. Oh wait, driving them home? I was thinking you were taking them somewhere from your place...hmmm..something warm....
