Lone ducklings joined my flock.

They were pink yesterday. I only noticed because they're still doing a lot of calling.

How are they acting other wise? eating, drinking, poo looking normal, well normal for a duck anyway. hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

It's hard to tell, since they're still so incredibly skittish. They haven't stopped crying since I took them in 2 days ago...they're only quiet when they're pushed up against the wire divider between their pen and the pekins'. Eating and drinking appears to be happening, but only when I'm not around/visible. Poo looks alright, though a little dry for what I'm used to seeing.

Our silver Runner has the same color of bill.

But hm. Maybe post it on the Emergency/Diseases/Injury and cures part of the forum

Well it may take a couple weeks for them to feel secure and comfortable no telling what kind of life they had before you. Hopefully good food and TLC will help .

Very well, thank you!
I separated them from the rest and gave them a nice variety of food. It seems they were just in need of some extra vitamins. For a few days now, all three have been hanging out with my near-adult Pekins. Swimming, foraging...they're losing some down and some more prickly feathers are coming through. Ugly little guys...I'll toss some pics up here tomorrow though anyways.

Absolutely. It's bad enough my older guys have been bit...I don't know what I'd do if a duckling got hurt.

From what I've read on here from others that have delt with snappers they just eat the ducklings, I hope you can get rid of them.
