When I was about eight my parent let me get 2 buggies. They were not the best taken care of, and one flew away from us about three years later. I moved Crystal (The one left after Caleb flew off) into my room. And she has lived out her life there.

But I do think she is lonely I was wondering if I could get her another bird or what I just... Don't know what to do. Like at all. I do know she likes my chicken Sully and she will "talk" with me.

But idk what to do now.

Thanks,

-Amelia

Yes, you can definitely get her a friend. Females will sometimes fight with each other, so a male would be the best choice. As long as you don't give them a nest box and don't keep more than one pair, they shouldn't breed, so no worries about them having chicks.

Id get a female without a male they will not fight getting a male will breed her potentially killing her due to her age

oh okay then, I am not sure how old she is at the moment. When I got her she was VERY young! I always heard that two girl parakeets would fight.

thanks I think I will try to get another parakeet. In the meantime is there anything I can do to make her feel more comfortable? And interactive?

You could give her mirrors
