Brahmalot already has Lady Mystery, nicknamed Misty, so that would be too confusing. There is also a Lady Bluebell. One of these is this little princess' mother, Prince Choco being the father.

This scribe is going to be happy when Old King Rocky is able to stay in his new living quarters.  As for now, it is not completely secure, so at night he sleeps in the kitchen of the neighboring giants.  There is nothing that wakes you up more completely than a 15-pound rooster crowing in your kitchen at 3:30 in the morning! 

Meanwhile, he is healing nicely from the beating he took from King Samson.  He is eating well and eliminating normally.  This scribe wonders if chickens get strokes.  This does not seem to be Marek's.  He is not paralyzed.  He will stand and take a four or five steps, but just seems to "get tired" and just squats on his "elbows."  He stands tall to crow.  His legs do not stick out underneath him in front or back.  He cannot get up and run, but will walk a very short distance.  Being one of the oldest of the citizens of Brahmalot, it is unknown if this is just old age, although 6 is not all that old.  He is large and heavy, so it is thought this is arthritis, if chickens get that.  There is no one in the nearby kingdoms trained in chicken medicine, so we do the best we can.

Another thought is maybe an internal injury from King Samson.  If so, hopefully he is healing from that, too.  He certainly was battered and bloody on the outside.

Yes Ms. Scribe, chickens can get strokes, have siezures and have convulsions. He is WAAY too old for Marreks so not to worry about that. my guess would be he is still sore from his beating and/or his weight on those old bones is another possibility...Keep up the good work of TLC and high energy foods and only time will tell....Another possiblity is a head injury from the fighting OR his legs got beat up from fighting. A 15LB roo can pack a healthy punch, I have been hit by a 4-5 lb game fowl stag and it can knock you off your feet, so I can imagine what a 15lb one can do...OUCH!

King Rocky update -

Today Rocky moved out of the neighboring giants' kitchen to his own coop, along with three of his girls. He is now crowing up a storm and actually tried to mount his favorite lady! He is taking around 10 steps now before stopping to rest. He doesn't put his wings down for balance. This scribe thinks the ladies have given him something to look forward to now, plus he is forever safe from his son, King Samson. Everybody is happy, and it looks like the Rock-man will pull through!

This scribe is extremely happy and relieved!

Great news! I hope he pulls through quickly! I have one light brahma, and he's a one year old rooster. He is very large, but a gentle giant as well, so one day about a month and a half ago, another rooster got too big for his britches and attacked him. There was blood everywhere and I found Ol' Rooster (his former name) hiding under the four wheeler with his head all busted up. I was certain he was gonna die, but I took him inside and patched him up as best I could. One of his eyes was swollen shut. He didn't eat for a week, I can't believe he lived, but on the seventh day, he crawled out from under the four wheeler and ate and drank a ton. He still isn't a hundred percent and is now the lowest rooster on the totem pole (even though the attacker was immediately dispatched and eaten for supper) but he gets a little better every day. His bad eye finally opened but it's obvious he's blind in it now. His new name is Bad Eye John, and he keeps kickin'! Love those brahmas! Healing thoughts to Old King Rocky!

Do you still have price milo and what kind is he?

Prince Milo went on a quest to a far away land where he can be king. He is a black Brahma and will be at least a large as King Samson when he is grown. Brahmalot now has Old King Rocky, King Samson, Prince Choco, Prince Boris, and Prince Marco. King Samson is now the only free-ranging king. The rest are in their mini-castles with their harems. Old King Rocky is now in his personal retirement home with a few of his women, where he will be safe and happy.
