Long time reader 1st time joiner (No cliches allowed ;))

8 hens from babies, 10 ducks. 10 rescue hens, ( 6 ducks... became gifts) to neighbors who eat pets.

Backyard Chickens site has helped us for years to deal with disease, parasites, racoons, dogs, identification... even duck eggs at the bottom of the pool. 13 last week.... Yes, they're edible.

Finally we join those who love their birds too.
