Lonley Duck

So these two ducks were raised together and best friends, now that the one duck is gone I am concerned about the other duck. They have been best friends for a year, should I get a couple chicks?

I would get ducklings as soon as possible. Ducks do not do good without other ones.

Do you recommend baby ducks or older ones, I am not sure where I would get older ones. She is about a year and a half

I would get older ones. You never know what she will think of baby ducks.

When I lost my female pekin, my male and female khakis were pretty depressed. I was able to find 2-4 month old female runners. I thought integration was going to be hard because I had a heck of a time with the chickens. I brought the two home in a cage, within a couple minutes they were out and instant best friends with Lucy and Ricky. All of the sudden they were back to normal and it hasn't been quiet again since--that's ok because I enjoy listening to them.
