Look at what my girls made me buy today!

Whoa! It's almost criminal to have to buy eggs when you've got hens!! I won't tell you how many I've been getting

Let's just say I'm giving a lot away as Christmas presents right now

It even snowed 14" and the temperature changed dramatically, yet I still got 8 eggs out of my 13 girls. I guess I'm just lucky!

One of our freeloader decided to start laying again on the shortest day of the year after a two month hiatus.

Go figure, silly chicken!

We were getting low too, but today I discovered they are laying around the yard

On an upnote, for some reason the girls decided to gove m 4 eggs yesterday instead of 1/2 a day
