Sounds like a very ungrateful person. If the dog ever comes back there is no way I would call again. Taking it to a pound several counties away would probably be perfect if you did not want it. Hope it isn't microchiped because the guy does not deserve it back. But at least he would have to pay for it!

That made me smile! How cute! Unless he's in ur chicken house! One time i caught a groundhog in my trap. So cute, and scared. But this one totally beats that out on oddness and cuteness.

Actually, the only chewing that we've had was by coons chewing on the 2x4's.

We switched to the hardware cloth because we had caught a cat who literally was wringing it's neck trying to get out and was stuck just writhing around. We had to cut the wire and realized right there that if a cat could squeeze it's head through the coated wire, that we had to go to hardware cloth.

that is a pretty dog, young as well so its possible he could be retained at the right home. if he comes back please dont take him straight to the pound, there are several mastif rescue places that would take him in a heartbeat.
