My DH recently started home brewing and we feed the spent grains to the hens as a treat. They love it! It's wonderful pig food too.

Tried some plain Greek yogurt today. They paid no attention to it. Normally, I can't keep them out of the food plate.

So far everyone is doing well. Some have taken to scratching to the bottom of the wood chips and looking for? others are beginning to scratch out indents in the wood chips to lay in and one little girl likes to chirp really loud until she has others with her in the food plate.

Everyone is still doing well, but there is one Barred Rock girl who is not growing as fast as the others. She is quite obviously smaller. She peeps loudly often. She does eat and drink. Some of the other chicks peck at her.
Does this mean anything or is she just a loud runt?
