I am looking for about 16 hens chantecler,
would prefer partridge but would be fine with any of the 3 breeds, and would want a rooster from another source if possible to enhance the stock (i would do this every few years, raise my own hens and get a rooster from elsewhere to introduce new dna.
if you think another breed would be suitable for me, i would be open to suggestions. but.. i am up north and want meat/eggs both. so hens that go broody once in a while would be good. and i like the chantecler due to their resistance to cold.
just finished my coop and am fishing the run shortly. plan on having them free range mostly.
oh and why is there no canadian pricing?
