looking for bantam chicks in washington

Hey guys! One of my chickens has recently gone broody, and we decided that now would be a perfect time to raise another baby chick. Our flock is half bantam, half standard, and currently, we're looking for a bantam to add to our flock. If anyone in washington has bantam chicks (any breed except silkie, it's too cold where we live) that are going to be hatching from May 30-July 1, let me know! We can drive out to wherever you are (preferably western washington, eastern is pretty far) and will pay up to $60 for a day old or two day old sexed (and female) bantam chick.

Hi from Kitsap! I don't have chicks for you, but I can keep an eye on my local Wilco because they have been getting chicks in, and even though they are selling out, they are not selling out nearly as quickly as other feed stores.

Thank you so much!! I just called the Kitsap Wilco and they said they're all out of bantam chicks, but they'll be getting some in tomorrow.

Awesome! Thank you so much, that's so generous! The woman that answered the phone said that she didn't know what breeds would be sent, but that there would "probably be bantams" and that "they send whatever". Next time you're at the country store, would you be willing to tell me if you spot any bantam breeds there? Thank you!!!

Absolutely! Usually they have a schedule and its pretty accurate, but lately it's been somewhat wonky and unpredictable. I had been planning on getting barred rocks, but they didn't get them on the day they were supposed to and I ended up getting silver laced wyandottes and welsummers instead. They're all good though.

I called today and they did get in chicks, but she couldn't tell me what they were yet; so later today if they are still open when I get home I'll drop by to see, or I'll call them again.
