Looking for Bantams for 4H kids.

Hi, I am looking for some bantam chicks for my kids to raise for showing at the 4H fair this year. I tried looking through the for sale section here, but the problem with that is I want to find someone local. Anyone in the Southeast Michigan area got bantams for sale? I would like a pure breed. One roosters and 2-5 hens. I like the looks of Seramas and OE bantams, but I am not stuck on any certain breed. May even consider polish or silkies. Can anyone here help me out?

You might look for a Michigan thread. I know there is one for WA state. Go out to google and search "backyardchickens Michigan thread" or something like that. The BYC search engine doesn't work so well sometimes.

I know the TSC stores have an assortment of Bantams. There is also a place in Ortonville.... Hamiltons feed that have on their schedule assorted Cochin bantams the week of 4-8 and assorted silkie bantams the week of 4-15
