I think I’m leaning towards Murray. Our Speckled Sussex was definitely slow to mature .. so much so that I though she missed the “oh yeah, I’m a chicken, I’m supposed to lay eggs” memo. But she has been a great layer when she isn’t molting!

I loved my SS, they were the sweetest tempered girls. And so pretty!
