Im crossing Welsumer, and RIR hens right now.

I'm from Philadelphia PA, and lived in the city all of my life. I'm living in Fair Grove, Missouri now tho, and living on 5 Acres. We've got 10 RIR, and 5 NH Reds. My rooster is full Welsumer


Working on some sheep, and pigs next. Fixing an area for grapes, and raspberries this weekend

Well I was raised north of Philly, so I'm used to a large city enviroment... But I love the country life, and Im sure that I'd never go back to the city. This type of lifestyle just makes sense, and gives me that warm fuzzy feeling. The only thing I could live without is all of the small town gossip.

I'd love to go off grid, but that's many years down the road.

If you want good ones who lay the nice dark eggs you'll need to get them from a breeder...not a hatchery.
