Looking for Turkeys poults to buy

Hi, I am looking to buy some poults to add to my flock of 8 hens. I am looking for 4-5. I am in Bay Area Northern Ca,. Never did the turkey thing before but have been successful with my hens for about 5 years or so. If you have some for sale please let me know.

I'm just below Auburn, but I only have 1 poult right now. No clue on gender yet and it's probably 1-2 months old (I need to look up the hatch date) and super skittish. I have it in with chicken chicks same age. I do have turkey eggs that should be fertile.

Do you have a TSC or other feedstore nearby? Usually they can order poults if they don't normally carry them in stock. It's starting to get pretty late in the year for poults though.

Sorry for the late reply. But I did manage to get 5 turkey poults. They are doing great. I'm in the Concord, Ca area. I had to go to Santa Rosa but that wasn't too bad. So far so god. I got mine when they were a few days old. They are about two weeks old now.

We got heritage turkeys. We got 2 bourbon reds, 2 black and 1 chocolate. We ordered 4 but they had one left and he gave her to us for free. They’re doing good so far. They’re outside. We bought 2 buff Orpington to go along with them because I heard they will teach them to eat and drink. They honestly did fine. They were eating and drinking 1 minute in the box on the drive home.

That's fantastic, they are adorable! Yes, they can be slower to figure out the food and water so I usually have a chicken chick in there to help teach them the ropes.
