Our Banty Americauna has lost her nails! There is no sign of trauma. Her feathers are healthy; she is strong and in spite of her size she seems to be at the top of the pecking order. She is almost 2 years old. One other thing. She stopped laying suddenly last June and has never resumed. We did the finger-vent check several times with no obstructions present. So we chalked it up to hormones. Any ideas?
