Lost a chicken in 4 minute window

Update: WE FOUND HER!! She was about 50 ft from where she was last seen on camera, hunkering down in a hole in the middle of the brush. We must’ve walked past her several times last night but I guess she’s a good hider in the dark. She’s safely back in the coop now and we’re very thankful no predators found her. Thank you all so much for your input and support, I really would’ve struggled to make it through the night if I hadn’t had the hope you all had given me that she could still be out there. This is such a wonderful community and I’ve learned so much from you all over the past 6 months, I’m so glad you’re all here to help! Thanks!!
Hooray!!!! :celebrate :wee:celebrate

Birds learn quickly and like being in a group. I have taught my birds ( I've had them for about 1 year) BACK ( move back when I enter the coop and don't try to escape) OUT ( into the run when one bird happened to escape so I can close this out door and open the in door) when I herd I just use a sturdy branch and thump ground screeching GET IN THE COOOOOOOOP. I think they get in so good because they just want me to SHUT UP. And then with treats it's Come babies Come. They learn fast especially with treats.

I'm betting she huddled down somewhere and will have tales to tell.
Chickens: where have you been??
Silkie: I ran into the brush and fell down a big hole! There was this odd rabbit with a watch.. I told him I had no time for his clucking nonsense. Then a man gave me some multi-colored corn! And showed me the way out. By the time I got out it was morning...
Chickens: you fell asleep out side again didn't you?
Silkie:..... maybe.... :D
