Ok... Finally found my missing camera and just spent quite awhile loading photos
Here you go... This is also posted in my "welcome" in the new members forum. I hope its ok to double post it in here... I'm not sure how many people actually look in the new member one and I want to hear what people think!
First pic. is Scooby, my first chicken that I ever owned and probably one of the sweetest roosters in history. He liked laying on his back on your lap and getting foot rubs... lets just say he was spoiled.
This is the 3 blue bantam cochins I just added yesterday
Here are my 5 black cochin bantams, the oldest one on the left I'm thinking is a hen. The three tiny blacks I added and the three blues she seems to have adopted at her young age. She lets them run up to her and hide under her wings for warmth. I'm hoping a great broody hen!
Three of my STD partridge cochins. I have six but only photo'd three. They all look exactly alike.
Five barred rocks I added this week in hopes of some pullets after picking out some at the feed store that all turned out to be roo's... I learned my lesson on sexing barred rock babies right there.
My sweetest chicken of all so far. She hops onto her waterer and then to the edge of the tub I keep her in just because she wants to come out and say Hi.
My Boys, Three need a new home if anyone is interested since I only wanted one! lol
Red sex link on the right, I'm not sure about the one on the left(also pictured by itself)
My eight rhode Island red babies
My eight EE's
My bantam buff cochin trio. I'm excited to hatch some babies from them next spring!
My little lone Red cochin that I bought thinking she was Buff... I didnt even know cochins came in red...
Two white mystery chicks. I havent determined the breed yet
Two new hampshire red girls
And my four buff girls. I know for sure two are buff orpingtons but I cant tell them apart and I'm wondering if they are all Buff orpingtons...
The two ducks I got just for kicks. Blue Swede and Peking?
Everyone back in their Brooders and headed to sleep after the "stress" of picture taking
And the absolutely overrun with chicks room in my house
For the moment, except for the bookshelves and desk the whole room is dedicated to them!
