No I got enough chickens lol. Thank you though.
It's weird everyone tell me that Orps are supose to be the friendliest breed. Out of the 7 in that coop she is the most skitish, Im patient with her though I think she will come around. The Golden Pheonix in that coop is my fav she is sweet and the 4 PR's are just starting to get real friendly.

OK; Well, mine would most likely not be very friendly because I don't handle my chickens very much. I don't get on a 1st name basis with my chickens. Only my geese.

OMG it is SOOO DANG hot.. Sorry been a ghost for a bit... Had a lot of work going on which is a good thing, Now when people start paying will be even better lol.

Just an update on my flock..

My single lone BA and Coronation just started laying... Sadly neither have a pure breed mate, so they are seperated. My hens are in the slow down of the summer, and boy it is hot. My Coronations/Splits that I hatched from Grambys farm are doing GREAT!!! I needed up with 1 Coronation Cock, 2 Coronation Pullets, and 1 Split/white Pullet. I also had 2 BA hatch from that and One Cock, and one Pullet. SOOOOO.... They are doing great. I haven't hatched anything over the past couple of months.. My brinsea sits there and I believe that I see a tear, as well as my other bators. My Freezer bator has become a catch all. I hope to have some pure coronation eggs hopefully in a couple of months for the fall.

My ducks are doing really well. I rescued a couple of runners that were badly taken care of. One of them were missing claws. But they are all doing well..

Would someone PLEASE turn down the heat, or at least let it rain!!!!

My garden Out did itself!!! I have more maters that I know what to do with, a couple of freezer bags full of greens, Purple hulls, and squash. My purple hulls are still developing as well as my mellons just starting to get to size!!!

There is the update from West By God Monroe!

I have some that are about that size that I'm growing out to be my next years layers. Do you need a few more like her?

When my Orps go broody they turn in to SHARKS!! I'm scared of them. So, I don't know about the friendliest breed. Well, at least not over here at my place. However, the Orps, Rhode Island Reds and Black Australops are the top 3 breeds that my country folks here in Opelousas contact me the most for. These are the top 3 breeds that they use to start their back yard flock. I can't keep enough on hand.
