This is rough rice and this is what I have fed all of my animals for years.
Rough or "paddy" rice is rice that has yet to have the outer covering (rice hull) and bran layers removed. The U.S. Standards for Rice define rough rice as being "rice (oryza sativa l.) which consists of 50 percent or more of paddy kernels of rice."
