Lump on neck still

Hi my 20 week old chick keeps nocking the scab off ive soaked it in epson salts and it fell off.this is whats underneath.any ideas?

I can't tell if this is infected or not?? Have you done anything for treatment? Why did you soak it in Epson salts?

If you have an avian vet nearby, I'd try to get oral antibiotics. I'm concerned there is either an infection, or a fly larva in there. Cover with a triple antibiotic ointment or silver sulfadiazine and wrap with a non-stick trauma pad and gently wrap with vet wrap to hold it in place and give it time to heal. If she keeps picking off the scab, it won't get a chance to heal.

I soaked her in epson salts as she had scrached her scab and made bleed so i soaked it and it fell off leaving the wound still fresh underneath

Did you notice where the feed goes when she is eating? Does it reach the crop and bulges nicely? And how do her droppings look and what amount?

Nice full crop.he poo today looked looked watery with worm shape poo in it checked though and no worms just ppo was that shape

Trim the feathers away from the wound, flush it out and get some better photos of the wound.
