I was petting our young Eastern Wild Tom and noticed a small lump just at the base of the neck. It didn't seem to bother him just never noticed it before. I checked out 2 other EW and they do not have the same lump, they are hens though. About 2 months old. A bit hard to see in the pics but it is firm and dry, like dry skin looking. Should we be concerned?

Thanks all for the quick replies, he is very healthy and active. Our first turkeys so just figured better to ask just then to be unsure.

As others have pointed out, it is the start of a beard. Some hens and all toms can grow beards.
