Was a nice day today, by AZ standards. Only 98 degrees, woo Hoo! I decided to make a baby tractor to get my 16 meaties some sunshine and grass. I made a 2x8 tractor, 2 foot high and put the little 3 day olds out to enjoy the sunshine and long grass. They had quite the afternoon.
Hope to be able to keep them out at night in a few more days, with a heat lamp, of course. For now, they'll come back in and sleep in the baby brooder.
I figure this little tractor will get lots of use, especially if one of my Banties decides to help me with brooding next spring.
