Last night and for a couple of nights Joy likes to make it miserable for everyone once the door is closed for the night, those that don't roost get chased around for about 10 mins while she herds them to different rooms. Then she settles down. But I have had to put them in solitary confinement before because they can be so hateful. usually a couple nights on their own in a different coop settles them down. Till the next one starts.

Okay I'm prepping for laying season, and to keep the coop somewhat peaceful I need good "nest" ideas. What are some things your girls think are great places to lay in? Last year they all wanted the same darn corner and I only had one laying at a time. I want to get as much broodiness as I can done and dusted before summer
