I love the face on the little female right in front of the magpie. All gorgeous Muscovy

So cute! i like the black headed one.

Yeah, the capped ones are beautiful! I THINK the two in front are males though... If not, the blue one is definitely on the "keep" list.
There's one capped male too, looking to become a good colored magpie. Who to keep? Decisions, decisions!!

I always love seeing pics of your Muscovies! You have the most beautiful colors!

I'm REALLY happy with the variety of colors and patterns this year. Admittedly one of my favorite things with domesticated animals in general, the sheer quantity of difference, sizes, colors...
Last year I only got blue ones, this is more fun. lol

GORGEOUS blue color! Soft and light. Muscovies can change so much between each molt, never know how they'll end up looking. lol

Wait till your colored ones get the age of mine. You start out with blues or chocolates and by year 8 they are almost white. And mine haven't started molting yet. Can't wait to see what this year brings. Only my females though my drake is also 8 and still same as he was . Runners are exactly the same but they are speckled in white on black. So interesting.

It's eggciting to see what colors they're going turn out at every new molt, isn't it?

Yes it is. I think if these girls continue to live through 2 or 3 more molts I'll have white Muscovy just with out the blue eyes. Hopefully they will be around for a long time yet.

Yeah, maybe! That'd be funny if they lived long enough and molted enough times that they turned all the way white!

Molting has started here on several of my Muscovies, but not all of them yet.

How do you guys control the feather pollution? Have been loosing the winter downs here and place looks like snow. I only have 5 I swear the summer molt wasn't this bad and the chickens were naked!
