It's been raining non-stop for two weeks here, and the ground is saturated. The duck pond that dried up due to drought, is filled to the brim.

Like the respectable muscovies they are, they of course find all other places EXCEPT the pond to do their cleaning...

Bob here's so fat she doesn't even bother to swim. Look at her cheeks! Haha!

@Miss Lydia , I'm just learning to weave feathered cloaks. We start with baby-sized ones with chicken feathers set back to front, so that they have a frizzle chicken look. I'll post a pic when I finish. My second one will include some muscovy feathers. It will be adult-sized.

Hands down.... duck eggs are the easiest to seperate the yolks of. Now just to figure out how to cook up the yellows today .

Duck eggs are my favorite. They taste way better than chicken eggs.
You could make lemon curd with those egg yolks.

Yes! You need egg yolks, sugar, and lemon juice. If you don't have fresh lemons, you can use bottled lemon juice.

I guess you need butter, too. I forgot that.
It also calls for lemon zest, but if you don't have it then you can make it without it.

Lemon curd is REALLY delicious!
