Man my garage stinks like bad skunk. i just went down there and now can smell skunk on my clothes. Off for shower numba 3.

Skunk descenting solution

1 quart peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon liquid soap

Apply like Shampoo, leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse.

Do not get into eyes. Solution must be used immediately after mixing.

The one I help partially out has a HUGE yolk sac. I mean the size of a large gumball. That is gonna take a LONG time to absorb.

One of the chicks that I helped hatch has a large blob of organ colored material trailing behind it. It hatched 5 hours ago now. It seems vigourous except for the blob. I don't want to move it to the brooder with this gob still attached. What should I do?

Thank you! I HATE this waiting part. But I'll wait.

The 2 that had a hard time hatching do seem to be taking much longer to recover but I guess that's to be expected. The early hatchers are being terrorists in the brooder. (I'm SURE they're roos!) Full fledged party in there so when I add new ones, they HAVE to be ready.

Just got back from running some errands and I have another lav baby out.

The one I thought would hatch while I was out is still in the shell. It looked like it was starting to zip and it was the other egg that I thought would still be sitting there when I got back that actually hatched.
