Kathy, you hatch & raise very special, SQ biRds and rare breeds, I don't think the BR and probable leghorn TJ's chicks are quite worth that same effort.

....But I do have some Golden Penciled Hamburg and Porcelain D'Uccles eggs currently in lockdown. Plus quite a variety of breeds in the ginormous brooder right now.

I sure wish the ONLY Frizzle bantam Cochin chick that hatched 3 weeks ago wasn't a cockerel.

I'm setting 32 BUFF Orpingtons and 9 White Orpingtons. I won't be here tomorrow at noon so I'm trying to show my GD how to take a pic of the clock. If she does it right I will post it when I get home. She's also going to put the eggs in for me. I'm a little worried, but hoping she will do good.

Just chickens my butt! I have a danged heart attack if something is wrong out there. We have webcams. And now I have mini chickens (OEG's), and call ducks. Reminds me to go look at the cam and see if they are ok..... BRB.

Well, it makes no sense to run a bator with only, "a few" eggs..... may as well use up the space. I NEVER would have done it, if you hadn't conned me into it. (Except for Kola's eggs, that is)....

I do not have too many chickens. I am not addicted to hatching. I do not bring "chickens" or "ducks" into every conversation. I do not spend all my free time on BYC. I am, however, seriously into denial.

I think I've heard of denial . Isn't that the name of the creek where Cleopatra lost her paddle ?​
