Ok I have my eggs. They are pink and blue and green and brown. Pretty!! 24 eggs, ready to go at noon. Yes, I know they should sit first and I'll have a crappy hatch rate, but I'll risk it.
I'll have to look back at the first post - do we post a pic of the eggs in the bator?
I have a brinsea, so if I have anything hatch near midnight will have to snatch it out to take a good pic of it. I have a backup hovabator I use for a dry off zone so that will do.
Crappy cell photo of the neat colored eggs from one seller..
I was planning on a small first hatch. Oh boy empty spaces in that tray just don't please my type A personality. So I'm either going to be removing some for only 3 rows or I'm going to be outside stalking my nestboxes for the next 2 hours.
Glad you got the eggs and they were not broken... I did send one welsummer egg in there. A few others broke here at home. Can't wait to see pictures! I'll setting some today as well. Will be neat to see if we have any twins...
I just spyed my dark cornish bantam popping out an egg, IT'S GOING IN!!! LOL And my BC/EE girl is out there as well... It's like they all know I'm setting eggs today! I love them so much!
Remember to post how many you set, and if you want in on the other contest,
How many Chicks will Mahonri hatch, give me the guess with names of the first three breeds hatched.
