well I just called home and had the chicken eggs set at approx 2pm but unsure of count since todays eggs were added in.
will post total chicken eggs set tonight when I get home.

Hey all... I had a crazy week in Los Angeles on business but I did get my eggs set today and here is a numbered picture of them. I will be setting 47 eggs ... a mix of silkies and brahmas!

I just learded that my sony DSC-S75 doesn't work with 64 bit Windows 7, which is my new and only working computer at home so I will have to upload the time-stamp photos from work

Also, here is a pic of the one silkie and two brahma chicks I hatched out thanksgiving weekend... the brooder is my soaker tub in the master bath... lol

It's one of those printer boxes like dot matrix printers sit in so you can't hear them.. Being that my brooder is in my living room, with this thing, I can't hear them chirping or smell them. And it doesn't let all that chickie fuzz go all over my house.. I LOVE IT!!! Chalk it up to another great find from the side of the street!

Yes.. It has two vents on the back.. You can see them, they run between the light bulb and the giant thermometer.. I keep tape over them and remove the tape as needed for control of the temperature and also there are vents on each side of the box.. Not to mention that the plexiglass lid doesn't close real tight..

Well mine went in at 1:30AM today. 16 silkie eggs of all colors. Was planning on setting 12 more silkie eggs but they made it here to late...

Also was a little PO'ed at the PO because they apparetly can not read the words hold for pick-up!

With as many chicks as sme are hatching, you are going to need a brooder like this one!
