Anyone that knows me knows I rarely ever candle .... until day 18 when I move them to the hatcher.

Well, you all pressured me, so I did it....

In the dark eggs that I can see with the mag lite, they all look good.
The 24 Cochins ..... I see NOTHING at all .....

Good news in other hatches due soon .... ALL of my Icelandic eggs are growing!

I dunno, at least a dozen or so in there...

I have a hatch due tomorrow, and I have no early pips yet. 4 are Mary's Icelandics.

Superchemicalgirl, temporary humidity highs and lows aren't all that critical I don't believe. It takes a while for the moisture to leave the egg. Temperature is more important. The eggs need to lose moisture or there won't be enough air in the egg for them to survive their escape from the shell.

...at my temp job, this morning they told me the gift exchange is tomorrow, and I should participate. They said, "Christmas-themed"

YAY! I LOVE LAST MINUTE PROJECTS!!!

I decided to make homemade foods for the gift. I mean, it is a temp job (for now). So I made bread, cinnamon spice bread, coconut macaroons, ginger-spice orange cookies, and peanut butter cookies. I pulled out some banana butter, cranberry pear jam, vanilla apple pear jam, and a dozen eggs from the girls.

Anything else?
