Any of you guys ever been to a Crowing Contest? I entered one at the Harvest festival and won with 28 crows in 10 minutes from my Serama Roo.

It is absolutely hilarious to watch all the new chicken owners jumping up and down and calling to get their birds to crow. All I have to do is walk outside and say "Rooster, rooster" and I have a nice chorus from my OEGB roo, Macho Man.

Really? I have never even heard of one! Sounds like fun!

It is pretty fun. It is now an annual event at the Myrtle Point Harvest Festival.

Here's a picture of my trophy. It has a hen on it.

It won't matter if you see the pip. They pip and zip so fast it'll make your head spin. But, if you want to see it anyway, it shows up because you see a bright blue/white line.

I don't worry about seeing motion. Going into lockdown if they glow bright like a christmas bulb, they're out.

I know it's summer here but we've had a cool lead up and I'm stressed about my chickies, they didn't like 85f yesterday,

they are ok today.

Finally, caught one in the act!! It wasn't as good of a shot as what I was hoping for but, here is my entry for the crowing rooster. He always stands on one foot to crow. He's just silly like that!
