I hatch for a guy down the street, and the chicks ALL pop ~7 at a time: which is how many eggs he collects each day. Even when he refridgerates them, they still come out in groups of 7.

I'm having trouble getting my motor started today , read something about coffe here and decided I better go get a cup ..........................
then realized I had a full cup in my hand already .

I hate hygrometers . Inspite of that fact I've got three in the bator . The one calibrated dead on [ twice ] is at 74 inspite of me emptying every reservoir I can get to from the outside since it settled there . Center reservoir full or bone dry it read a constant 46% for 18 days . I added the one that calibrated 6 points low off to the edge this morning ; it read 76

. After an hour it dropped .......................... to 63 . ???????? The third has been at LO to 20% for the 18 days , came up to 22 today after I siphoned off water yesterday . I hate hygrometers . I need another cup of coffee , this one went dry ; I don't need a hygrometer to tell me that .

I have to go to town day and find a doctor willing to write a 'scipt for pain meds . Can't see my regular doctor , she transferred from Pain Management " to " Emergency " . The other doctors usually refuse to write scripts for anybody that saw her in " Pain Management " . I may be starting to hate doctors also .

I was just reminded that my DM's birthday is the 1st . I love DM , so will be at her party Sat instead of having my nose pressed to the glass of the bator hoping for chicks if there's still hope at that time . Its not her fault she was born on the date I forgot as I excitedly joined this hatch group . Now I need to go put some cash in the bank to pay the internet bill I forgot , see the doctor , go shopping for mom , and buy gas for all that running , plus a friend needs a ride .............. I need another cup of coffee first .

Dang! I STILL have no picture of a crowing rooster! Those darn boys will not crow for the camera at all. What's up with that? As soon as I hear one, I run over there and then the others begin .... as soon as I get there with the camera, they stop!
