Naw those are the Plymouth Partridge Rocks very nice ones too from Welp or really Privett one of those hens is my first broody due the 8th....any reason why mine seem to hatch early? Maybe the Ultra Kibble? I'm going to buy some of that foam Brandon's going to have a good hatch I'm sending him the vibes

It looks like snow flurries this morning pretty heavy frost and they had a wreck on the hwy this morning from ice........

Denny, I went into lock down yesterday and I candled and pulled eggs out. I pulled 6 eggs out since they were clear. All put one were the Indian River. The other you did not pencil in what it was. We will see what happens.

Nancy

How many are in lock down? I'm pretty sure I sent you only Indian Rivers (the unmarked ones should be from the ones laid the day I mailed) as I saved them for you and Kim. I had 3 from 5 hatch mine came from 3 days after I put the rooster in yours had a little over a week and the ones in my incubator now are the ones laid right after yours were shipped and I pulled 4 clears from 30ish I think I'm going to take a picture and post it of those babies for Kathy to see too they look just like Dels I'm never incubating them together I don't think I'd ever be able to tell the difference.....worse than Icelandics

Have to leave for the day. Temps dropped to 97 in both bators. I think my humidity is off, cause I had a partical fogged window, but read 67. Everything is holding now. Pray for me since I may not be home till morning!

What a stupid time for these Grandkids to have a Birthday! Makayla lives with me and her's is tomorrow, but her older sister is today. Told my daughter she didn't do it right, they should have both been New Years babies. I trying to get out of going but got the "Mom, you're gonna miss the kids' birthdays for CHICKENS!" First I said yes then I figured I better go. uggg

Good vibes for my bators doing their jobs right people.

Wish I could have figured out what I did wrong with the sportsman.

Thank goodness for the elipses before "worse than Icelandics" because I had to take a breath!

I know I need more coffee when punctuation in a post drives my reading ability. Lotsapaints, don't take offense - it is far more a comment about ME!

ok this is a terrible and blurry picture, but the Brinsea plastic is not the clearest.

Cute fluffy pictures will be here later. It is pecking and talking to other eggs so I am leaving it in the bator for a while so it can get the others going.

It is all yellow, so it is either a Texas A&M or an English white. Coturnix quail.

Then I will take some better pictures by objects to show how stinkin tiny these things are.

Congrats to the others with pips!

I love hatchin quail. They pop out like popcorn. None of this Mahonrigoescrazy stuff.

You all are making me want to ditch work and go peer into the bator.
