Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Tomorrow afternoon I start messing with chicken run perimeter, setting up coops & duck house, putting the 4 call ducklings outside into their grow-out facility, and more regular checking for pips in the 'bator. This is after a luncheon with some co-workers at a Sushi restaurant. Most of us attending will not have to go back to work.

Those little call ducklings really need to go outside, but I might bring 'em back in at night. Their bathroom brooder is far warmer than the outside overnight temps around here!

I will be happy if ANY of these eggs hatch.

Actually I am able to brag about taking off my " mud " covered boots outside and without a chair to sit inwhen I came back from the thawed out coop tonight . The doctor I saw gave me scripts for both Vicodin and a muscle relaxer to take together , and now I feel a little bad about not manning up enough to ignore the owies and change out of the " muddy " shoes and bibs before tracking into the clinic . { But I think they may have gotten me out of there a little quicker due to the " mud " I was wearing

I made a map so we could put our (not exact) location if you wanted to participate. The link is in my signature section. People have stated you need a google account to do it. You'll need to click EDIT, then on the map click the marker and drag it to where you are, then click done.
