Mahonri, How many eggs should I send? 2 dozen? That way you can stack them and candle to eliminate the infertile or non developers? Is that too many?

I'll still be here, just not hatching myself. Besides there's no point in me hatching mixes from my own stock, when I can hatch pure eggs in a few weeks.

I have 18 for you right now so I'll shoot for 2 dozen. (Easier to pack too!) I am also sending some to EricH who is sorta local to me after I collect yours. He'll be joining the big bash with Icelandics too! I sure hope the fertility rates have improved! I am anxiously awaiting news of the most recent eggs I sent out. I have six girls laying but only one guy dating!

We are going to start collecting eggs for hatching tomorrow or Sunday we are getting 9 eggs a day but I will stop at 30 eggs we are setting up the nursery and getting the extra heat lamps since it will be cold I am excited this will be just for fun since I don't have a camera unless Santa surprises me with a digi cam over the holidays ( WISH, WISH, WISH ) ........any whoo I am getting excited incubators are all cleaned out and ready to go. I took a month off of hatching so I could space the last chicks out a little from the next hatch then I can move last hatch chicks into their new area to free up the nursery area.

If things keep going well I may just get that camera I have been wanting.......
