Mahonri~ A neighbor came by yesterday and took all the eggs that I had just put in the 'bator for Christmas day hatch. She has them all nestled in hers, I couldn't refuse her plea to let her hatch them.

So it looks as though you should remove me from the list, but believe you me I will be here with all of my BYC family and cheering you all on.

Ok, color me an idiot, but I still dont get it. Are we all setting eggs at noon our own time, or noon a synchronized time so that all eggs go in on the same minute?

Looks like I have a hen going broody - perhaps I will make the deadline after all? If she stays on the nest, I will slip eggs under her on the 11th. Think broody thoughts!

Wow ! This thread is impossible to keep up with ; I can only begin to imagine what it will be like once the pipping , zipping , and hatching begins .

Best wishes to those waiting on new 'bators , eggs being laid , eggs in the mail , or still looking . Welcome newcomers ! I'm glad Mahonri's the statistician , I would hate to be the one trying to keep track of numbers . Speaking of which , I vote we elect him to take a count of total eggs being set .
