Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

This has got to be the biggest one day hatch BYC has ever done.

We are going to have baby chicks ready to ring in 2011!!!

Welcome all you new comers... so glad you joined us!!

And thanks Steve for picking up my slack, I've been down in the mouth most of the morning with a patient that lives in the north woods of Maine and flew here to get her mouth fixed.

Lunch is over... back to the drill, fill and bill!

Hi Everyone, I was thinking long and hard about hatching eggs when it is so cold. I have a batch in my spare bedroom but they will be leaving shortly. They do not belong to me. I just cleaned the incubator last night and it is ready to go. I was going to scour the For sale area for eggs and see if I can join in the fun.

Halo: I pm'd you. If you are at your limits and cannot fill the orders, anyone else have extra eggs they would like hatched? PM me.

Nancy

You're a very pretty woman , that's a beautiful background , and even from the back I can see Hannah has a big smile on her face about having the person she owns touch her head .
Now I'm going to quit telling every beautiful woman on here how nice they look , so somebody else will have to do that from now on

Think they can lay me some eggs in the next couple of weeks?

Alright, I'm going to bow to the pressure of this group hatch and find SOMETHING to incubate-can't let ya'll have all the fun, now can I?

That'll be a fun mix of eggs!! I'm getting a similar mixed bag of breeds from Illia for my hatch, gotta love a colorful egg basket!

Awwww, Steve, you're makin' me blush! You are a fine looking fella yourself, I've always been partial to bearded men!

I'm getting excited you guys, its been such a long time since I've let myself hatch any eggs......well, "accidentally" leaving them under broodies for 21 days doesn't count, right?

Halo what a nice gesture to offer up your eggs and I would help out too if I was getting more than two eggs a day!

This is going to be so much fun. Maybe next year I will be able to help out with eggs if someone needs them!

I'm a 1951 model , and high mileage over some rough roads . Hope that makes you feel better .................. if not .....................

I'm right close to ya, buddy! 1953 model here. Lots of us baby boomers around here (well, not HERE on this thread)..... Ohhhhhh, now those were the days.....

I guess I'm one of the elderly crowd... a '58 model. Stuck at work right now... 2nd to last patient is 'waiting' for her ride. I could be here for another hour twiddling my thumbs. It's already dark so I'm glad I got everybody fed and watered at lunch but by 2PM not one egg had been deposited in the nest boxes. This November is freaky. I talked to a lady from Hayden (east central AZ) and she said ALL of her girls have just QUIT!
There is the odd person here or there who's girls are laying like normal but most are not. I wonder if it's something in the air... or the magnetic alignment of the earth, or gravitational pull from some distant black hole... or

ah, they just quit laying.
