Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Your two Easter eggers are Beautiful and they both look like they have a lot of Ameraucana blood in them. That blue laced Golden Duckwing is GORGEOUS.

Can you plan for a broody to start setting on the 11th or just before? If so... go for it!

OK, I just paid for the latest batch of eggs being shipped to me!!! I'm getting eggs from 4 different people. I just hope they don't freeze getting here! I have two bators but am hoping to fit them all in one of them. This is going to be so much fun! Just want everyone to know what a thrill it is to be part of such a great group!

It could be a Wyandotte.

Thank you Mahonri, you have made me feel better today. I know I still could have been duped on my Ameraucanas and it could be one of them laying that egg but knowing that it could possibly be a Wyandotte makes me feel better! Even if I do find out that I have EE's instead of Am's I will keep them just hate to be fooled.

It is a good size pullet egg so it is going in to the hatch!
ETA - Not going to set that egg, just found a crack on it. Hopefully I will get another one before setting the eggs big enough.

So the Genesis 1588 hovabator has been up and running since 12:15PM... It's up to 99.0 Seems like it takes forever... I may have to up the room temp... I'll hate that.

The Brinsea was set up and going at 1:30PM and was up to temp and humidity by 2:30PM

After they've both been going for 24 hours at desired temp and humidity, I'll turn the heat off, turn the turners on and start putting my eggs in.... just for the turning until next week.
