Okay, I think I got it. Up to 14 Marans eggs, Im so egg-cited they are laying now! I just dont know which ones are laying, who knows what Ill end up with.

OK, so I have a stupid question....if our first chick hatches BEFORE midnight, do we just cound the first chick that hatches AFTER midnight New Year's Eve?

Thank you for verifying that...mine always do hatch out early. I figured my hens were hot mamas and that was why??? However, I am in this for the sheer joy of it all - no prize necessary. Can't wait to see what everyone hatches though.
