Maybe some of us should do photo bucket or some other service so all we have to do is post urls of our images, any else have ideas to speed things along?... as if we can keep up with this thread as it is

Does anyone think that a disinterested DH would notice different chicks? I haven't told him yet about the lav orp eggs coming. I am thinking I should be able to slide them into the bator unnoticed but thinking he might notice the difference in colors. Of course I should be covered with possible blue chicks from the Ameraucanas but how different does lav look from blue?

That right there is the truth. I told Ken we have 17 ducks eggs in there and he said "God, I hope they don't ALL hatch". I told him now he said that they most certainly will.

Ok sounds like I will be able to fly them under the radar then.

I do know about the chickens not being allowed in "his" space which is just where they want to go when there is no snow on the ground! Had to run out and shoo all of them out of the garage one day before he pulled in to park!

They are allowed in "my" space which is the barn though. Love having them keep me company while I do my chores!

Now, I'll be collecting my own for new year's and see about auctioning some others, post-New Year's setting date.
