I saw your pic and thought "Such neat lettering on those eggs! Wish mine were that neat!" Then I realized there was an arrow floating in the bottom corner

Sorry! I'm gonna go with Mahonri hatching 54 chicks.

Ameraucana, Orpington, Icelandic.

But... what if he gets Ameraucana, Ameraucana, Orpington, and Icelandic? If Ameraucana is the first breed to hatch and Orpington is the second, does it matter how many of the first breed hatch before the second breed gets here? If one dies (God Forbid!) in a day or so after hatch, does it still count toward the hatch rate? What if that one was one of the first three, does it alter the breed order?

And I had to do some back reading to find the list of breeds set, so I was catching up a bit... for The Warden, what an awful situation to be stuck with.

I agree, shoot the dogs if you have to. Or trap them and turn them over to a shelter/the pound/someone on Craigslist if they're on your property and you're not too eager to shoot. They can keep getting more animals to raise irresponsibly, and you can keep rewarding them for their irresponsibility. Neighbors have no right to terrorize!

And finally... I love the cardboard box brooder! If you need more room after New Years, you could easily just add it on!

EVERYONE go fill it out. purty please.

There is a link to it on Post #1.

If it doesn't have a guess for how many chicks I'll hatch, wait a couple of minutes, then fill it out.

Maybe now, I can take a nap.

I love technology.

But I still wish incubators were like vending machines....

I thought it was the easiest way to mark my New Years hatching eggs as I have so many due at different times in there. There are polish eggs due on Tues, Wyandottes in about 10 days- and some other duck eggs about two weeks as well as some new ones just put in yesterday. Lucky I have people booked to come collect their orders of already hatched ones today or I will run out of brooder space. I dont like to mix them up to much in the brooders.

We just stumbled into this, so I'll throw our hatch into the mix. The eggs were set in our new still air Hovabator at about 1pm local time today (my daughters had to finish lunch so they could watch

. There are 7 mixed Frizzle eggs. I am guessing we'll end up with 2 chicks (not being too optimistic since this is the first time we've ever done this).
