I love that ghetto brooder. Id only be worried about the cardboard and the heat lamp. But its a spiffy idea.

It's like 7 ft x 8 ft (and around 4 foot tall) and the 2x4 is nailed to saw horses on each end. The heat lamps are secured with those U shaped plastic covered nail thingys. I used the same brooder for nearly a year without a problem. I just change out the cardboard flooring with each hatch. I tore this one down in the attached garage, and am making the new one in another garage. I get heavy boxes from the furniture store. The have really nice ones .... especially this time of year. They have long flat pieces of cardboard for the floor too.

Here's how good my luck is.

6.5 hours after I put my first ever eggs in the incubator my pellet stove (which is less than 4 weeks old and I now use to heat my house instead of oil since I can only afford to heat to 58 degrees with oil) stops working.

It's now 62 degrees in the house. Falling fast. Poor eggies. And poor me.

I'm off to go put more clothes on.

How does a pellet stove stop working? Doesnt it just burn pellets?

I thought so too. It stopped igniting and when I tried it on manual the flame went out. I'm working on cleaning it really well hoping that's the problem although it shouldn't be. I have it unplugged, maybe that'll reset it?

Check if you have a pellet jam. Sometimes ours gets plugged up in the top feeder thing or the bottom one. Unplug the jam and push start again and we are back in business. Or sometimes you have to unplug it and plug it in and it restarts the electrical stuff. Other than that I don't know what else could possibly make it stop. Hope you get it going soon.

Ok, Being kinda an OG!!! How do I reset my prefernces for max number of post per page? I have always wondered how to get more post per page, but don't know how to set it differently. Help me out.

Click on Profile on the blue bar. Then click on display. Then add the number of posts you want to view per page. (I put 40)

Go to Profile > Display > Enter your pagination options
75 is the highest I think.
