Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

I should be so lucky to have enough eggs to stack...my 24 look straight up lonely in there.
On a happy note: My silkie hen's eggs didn't hatch, so I took some of the babies I just hatched out and put them under her. I didn't remove the eggs she was sitting on, well, just in case they still might hatch. I checked again today - they ALL HATCHED (day 24). So now, I had to go back and pull out the adopted chicks and put them back in the brooder with the others. They are crying pitifully.
 
Hard to choose just one, but here's my entry.
