Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Mary, I want you to adopt me as your child. I know that means you would have had me as a tiny child, but....

I'll take care of the chickens for you, insulate your barn coop, put the roosts back up. I just want to play with all of the toys. Got a spare bedroom?

Bob's Henhouse :

superchemicalgirl, same way in Phoenix in the summertime people wait till 5:00 P.M. Friday to call and say they need their a/c fixed right now, it's been acting up since Wednesday but they thought tey'd better get it fixed BEFORE the weekend!

And/or, that's when they call their landlord with the same excuse.

The Warden, cool new toy!

you have that problem out there too! Never fails that people(tenants) wait until evenings or weekends to let you know things are broken

and want you to fix it now.

Well- we are home now. I have a newish tradition where we open one present on Christmas Eve--we always get a new pair of pajamas and a book. I finished up reading to the kids and now they are pestering Grandma.

I bought sleigh bells at the feed store: as soon as they go to bed, I up up on the roof top (click click click) to ring those bells like ol' Saint Nick. Then I'll toss the bells into the bushes for them to find tomorrow morning.

What a fun Christmas mama you are Laree...

My youngest two already have the milk and cookies out for Santa.

Ooooh good call! We decorated cookies earlier today. Chatterbox INSISTED that reindeer can only eat reindeer cookies. So we have 8 reindeer cookies, a sleigh cookie, a sack of toys cookies for santa and the reindeer.

I think the DH is trying to wrap that gnome I found in the garage. He's telling the kids to back off, be quiet, and Chatterbox keeps saying, "IS THAT SNOW WHITE AND THE DWARVES?"
